Prepaid ticket serves as a valid ticket for use of public transportation services for a prepaid time.
What Prepaid tickets are available?
The prepaid tickets are available in 30,90 and 365 day formats for all zones and BID. Types available are Classic, discounted for senior citizens, students and pupils, Senior special and multi-passenger prepaid for organizations. The prices are as follows:

Where and how to apply for the Prepaid ticket?
It is necessary to apply for issuance of identification chip card (IČK) in selected branches DPB a.s., or with third parties that issue identification chip cards upon contracts with DPB a.s., to use the prepaid ticket. IČK is non-delegable for the purposes of natural persons, issued to a name and based on application filled and signed, which is available in selling points of the transport company, and submitted photograph with dimensions 3 x 3,5 cm. Sole chip card is valid for 5 years. Provided that you already own IČK you have to only buy a prepaid ticket of desired time and zonal validity in one of the selling points of DPB a.s..
How to buy the Prepaid ticket through internet?
DPB a.s. offers a possibility to buy an electronic prepaid ticket through internet conveniently from home by selecting „Buy electronic prepaid ticket“. This service can be used by any holder of the chip card issued by DPB a.s., ZSSK a.s. and student cards contractual issuers. It possible to buy the electronic prepaid ticket based on type, with time and zonal validity as a standard prepaid ticket (except BID – Integrated transport of Bratislava) no later than:
- 1 business day prior to desired validity of the ticket when paying by internet banking
- 4 business days prior to desired validity of the when paying by wire transfer
To order an electronic prepaid ticket is necessary to state the license number of the chip card (10 digit number on IČK) and by entering the system client obtains information about all currently valid electronic prepaid cards.
